Wendy beach
M.A., NBC-HWC
Wendy Beach helps people focus on what's strong to counter the focus we tend to have on "what's wrong". With credentials in health and well-being coaching and positive psychology, she helps people live authentically and feel good about who they are - right now - as they grow and live fully in all of life's ups and downs.
Ms. Beach has held varied leadership roles in economic and workforce development at local, regional and national levels. In addition, she has been an entrepreneur: co-founding a private sector driven workforce investment collaborative, and, a corporate intrapreneur: creating a new line of business for a global staffing organization which leverages community partnerships to help people with barriers to employment obtain jobs leading to careers.
Wendy is a Pet Partner animal handler, loves cooking, baking and home renovating, and stays as active as possible with her husband and pets including hiking, camping, water sports, snow sports and travel.
A Duke Certified Health and Well-being Coach with a B.A. in Political Science and Psychology from the University of Michigan and an M.A. Clinical Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University, Wendy focuses on the common thread of all of her work – helping people, companies and communities discover and apply their unique strengths to build resilience and flourish.
